Hello Fellow Campers!

Good morning! So hopefully you've had a chance to check out my blog. I will post photos frequently so I hope you enjoy them. I will also add articles now and then to give you some tips and suggestions for camping. I hope you enjoy them. This weekend we will start getting the trailer ready for our upcoming camping trip. We haven't been able to go anywhere since last July so it's been sitting awhile. I'm pretty sure that is the longest period of time we have gone with out camping! Anyway, lots to do. Last trip out we blew a tire on the trailer so we will be going to replace the spare before we head out again. Talk about an adventure! We were on 80 heading out of Sacramento. We were in the process of moving to northern CA so I was behind my husband in the car. A truck pulled up next to my husband and gave him hand signals that the tire was flat, at the same time I had noticed that the trailer was leaning at a funny angle. That's when the tire blew! Pieces of rubber went everywhere. The guy in the truck slowed down and basically escorted my husband off the side of the road making sure he got over safely and then he continued on his way. A huge THANK YOU to him! We all got over safely and AAA sent a tow truck out to help replace the tire. It was about 100 degrees out there that day and we had to wait a little while before everything was all set and ready to go. We made it to our destination safe and sound and the kids still talk about it today! So, time to get a new spare, soon we will replace all the tires as well.
